Oh man, im beat!

Hey readers, i gotta tell ya, I’m drained…

I have almost completed my projects and reports and all that other junk thats interfering with my precious anime. I guess I’ll just catch you up on whats been going on with me.
Well, for starters, i left Fiesta, more or less for good. My guild sorta disintegrated and I found a better free MMO to play….I mean waaay better. I’ll miss all my E-friends i made in Fiesta but they got my MSN so i hope they’ll use it. Besides, nothings ever forever.

Lets see, what else……oh yeah, I’m officially broke again, but i guess there’s nothing new there – . -’ I really need to start lookin’ for a summer job to get some cash flowin’ in…but i get so wrapped up in my college stuff and anime and games that even if i could get i job, i doubt I’ll even enjoy it since I’d probably have to sacrifice a lot of my time on it, i barely have enough time as it is…

Ohh ohh!…i just started watching an anime called K-On and I’m already addicted, nothing makes you feel better than a “slice of life” anime like K-On. Its still not completely released so i have to wait before i can see past episode 9 which is a real downer since i was enjoying it so much. Some people think that just cause’ im a guy, the only animes i could possibly be interested in are ones with big robots or borderline hentai anime with plenty of T ‘n A……and, honestly, …..well, i do like those BUT, before you judge me….remember….I’M A GUY!

Anyway, what i was gonna say was that people find it wierd that my favorite anime’s are always the “slice of life” kind, like Ouran, K-On, Piano, Kannagi, Onegai, Haruihi Suzumiya, Kyou no Gononi and, of course, Lucky Star. I don’t think its wierd at all, what do you think?

Everyone has been cramming and studying pretty much non-stop since the deadlines for our projects were realeased ( our projects are to design and build a 7 page website and to design and create a scenario quest in Neverwinter Nights)…so i’ve basically been living in front of my computer..( well…nothing much new there…).

All this rushing around can’t be good for my health and if you’ve followed this blog, you’ll know how easilly i seem to get ill…..this is so bothersome.  I haven’t had a proper sleep in weeks, im restricted to like 5 hours max at the moment…

....must....study...Zzz Zzzz zzZzz

Even in college, were im supposed to be an energetic youth.. and be full of..umm..eagerness to learn and all that stuff, even in the place thats supposed to inspire my education… I JUST WANNA SHLEEP!!

Still….i can’t really complain.  If i stopped watching my anime or playing Fiesta, i probably wouldn’t be so drained… but i will never do that.  I made a choice…a choice to watch my anime no matter what…i have dedicated my free time to the acquisition and viewing of as many anime’s and manga’s as i can and it’s the one thing i can’t give up… and as for fiesta…umm…I DUN WANNA GIVE IT UP!! I know, i know,  im just making things harder for my self…..but i am….OTAKU!!

I AM OTAKU, AND NOBODY SAID IT WAS AN EASY LIFE.....I WILL PREVAIL...MWAHAHAHA

Being spontaneous is an interesting prospect to me, to do something just cause you feel like it, what a great thing…..to be able to have that much freedom and to be able to shun responsibility, or at least…that’s what it’s like in the anime’s, right.  Although it’s never quite like that in real life, i still decided to give it a go…y’know, being spontaneous, so i decided to ask everyone out for a drink to see what happened (OK, going for a drink isn’t that spontaneous….unless it’s 13:45 during a college day.) I wasn’t expecting everyone to say “Ok, sure….let’s go”, I was surprised.

So, it was decided and we set of on the beginning our drinking quest….

We arrived at “The Foot of the Walk” restaurant and bar at about 14:15 and we started our usual “talking about absolute crap” conversation which seems to follow us wherever we are, it’s not a bad thing, it just makes us sound crazy to other people. We drank there for most of the day….i think, nobody was actually keeping track of time.  The food smelled so good so i just had to grab some lunch(I had a meatball marinara chiabata, mmmm.).

After we had our fill at this place we decided to head to the student pub, “Barramans”. This is a great little pub, it’s strange, it has an atmosphere that would make it OK if a biker gang just walked in….but didn’t throw any bottles or chairs and just had a friendly drink.  A weird description, i know, but it’s the kinda pub you could just see everyone being “friendly to the point of creepy” in, or maybe it’s just me.  My friends decided to play a joke on me by telling the whole pub that i like “Coldplay”….i don’t (not much of a prank ’til you realise this is like a rock/metal pub…), they’ve only done like 5 songs that i like… and when i say like, i just mean i can just stand to listen to them…i can’t even name half of them. We like Barramans but sometimes you just need a place that pitch black and louder than the “Booing” at a Coldplay concert (Nya ha ha, see what i did there?).

So, next,we decided to go to “The Opium”, by this point we where more or less a little drunk (By a “little Drunk”, i mean stupid enough to try and unscrew a light bulb that’s been on all day…with your bare hands…). I don’t even think we where there that long or even why we went…. but wherever Steph goes, we go…or at least i see this as a general rule, it’s not like we could stop her from going somewhere, but if we let her go alone she’d probably forget about us and not come back. The Opium isn’t that good of a club anyway so we decided to go to “The Hive”, which is a much better club… i think, i don’t really do clubs so i couldn’t tell a good one from a bad one.

So, there we where….The Hive. By this point i was unable to deny the fact i was drunk, it’s a good thing i can keep my composure when i’m drunk. The club was dark, loud, crowded, we where all pissed and i was …happy, i guess.  Unfortunately, like at most clubs, there’s always someone trying to start a fight….and this time they wanted to start it with me and my friends. I don’t remember much about it, just doing a lotta shouting…..that’s about it.  I’m pretty sure the guy’s that were trying to fight me and my mate’s where kicked outta the club….good riddance to bad trash. By this point my friends Kenny and Steph, decided they where gonna head home, so it was just me and my mate Alex.

Somehow between the point when Kenny and Steph left, and when me and Alex decided it was time to call it a night, i managed to slice my hand open on something. I vaguely remember slapping a hand dryer because it wouldn’t work when i put my hands under it, but the mystery will never be solved because i don’t even remember the taxi ride home….i still remember paying for it though.

When will my cats learn not to wake me when hungover?!

So that’s that, my day of spontinuity.  The day after was the real challange though, i had to get up for college but i was still a little drunk and my hand hurt like hell, not to mention the killer hang-over (Why do my cats always make the same mistakes, huh? Waking me up when i’m hungover, they shoulda learned by now).  Amazingly, everyone made it into college that day, i thought i was the only one geeky enough to go to college while feeling like that but i guess not…..Being spontaneous is a riskey business, isn’t it?

Ahhhh! Wat do i do, wat do i dooooo?!

Ahhhh!….i’m freaking out here, people.  So many little things have started to make me worry about my posting.  Ok, sure, my hit counter keeps going up, but nobodies leaving any comments.  It’s making me think that haredly anyone who visits actually reads my posts, *cries*..and i was trying so hard too.

*cries*...Waaaa!....i just don't know wat to doooo?!

Another thing i’m worried about is my blogs lifespan.  Someone told me that most new blogs, about 70% of them, die within the first 3 months.  Well its been about 3 months for my blog and i’m starting to wonder if my blog was ever even alive??  The only way i will know for sure is if the readers start commenting on the blog itself….so this is an appeal to all people who enjoy this blog, please leave a comment after reading so that i can tell if it was good or bad….that way i can imporve whatever needs to be made better.

*sigh*...this is all too troublesome to think about, ima go get a cookie...

Then again, maybe it’s just me being paranoid.  I’m one guy writing a blog to say what he thinks.  I never even intended to have many readers or a fan base or anythin, so why am  so eager to get comments…. I dunno, but i thinks it’s just because i want conformation, y’know, or else i might as well as be talking to a brick wall…. Well, success or failure, i’m still gonna post, afterall, im the one who’s enjoying doing all these postings.

I almost skipped this gem of an anime....

Today i finished watching Ouran High School Host Club…..

When i started watching this, i thought it was ……a little weird at first, as if it was kinda Yaoi in nature…..towards the end of the first episode though, something happens to change my first impressions immediately, and i couldn’t stop laughing.  You should see this anime if you like that school comedy kinda thing, and who doesn’t?

Ouran is a very funny anime but it also has a good depth and character design is good.  Each character has a funny and interesting side so there’s plenty of quality in the story, so it’s really enjoyable.

I was also back on Fiesta today, i leveled again making me lvl 36. But it feels like gameplay is going soo slowly and is unreasonably difficult for a game thats just there for people to have fun in.  I’m starting to get irritated by the way Outspark do things, it just gets annoying.  Is my love for fiesta dieing??? Stay tuned and find out…..next week.

The Lucky Star girls....

Today i finally finished Lucky Star……and i wanted to cry, i never wanted it to end *sob…sob…*

Y’know what it’s like to just love a group of anime characters ( -.- …and i don’t mean like that you perv’s!), and then when you don’t get to see then in anything new you get a little sad because you miss it……. I feel nothing like that…. honestly… o.o ( LIES…LIES….I MISH YUU KONA-CHAN!!)

Anyone who'[s actually seen Lucky Star knows that she's just using YouTube as a cover for....something else...

Her character is great and make’s people see many resemblences even if there really aren’t any obvious ones…. (^.^ awwe, if only i could meet a girl like that…), it’s just good character design at it’s best.

Sometimes i wander what the people who wrote for Lucky Star are like… I think they where either very anal about every word that went in the script… or are just a buncha friends sitting around, holding pens and notepads, having a laugh, writing whatever comes to mind…. Because, let’s face it people… nothing really happens in Lucky Star… and thats why it’s sooo successful.  The way the characters just mingle and talk and get on with their normal-ish lives… this is definately what we call a “slice of life” anime… no robots, no aliens, just normal-ish high schoolers…. Brilliant.
